I like to parboil rabbit just like chicken before cooking it on the grill. Boiling it reduces the cooking time by about
30 minutes or so. To parboil cut your chicken in half or in quarters (I find in quarters to be easier to work with) place
the rabbit in a pot fill with water enough to cover most of the rabbit. Boil for about 20 minutes.
1~ 3-5 Lb. rabbit cut up and parboiled
2~ season rabbit if you would like
3~ Place on a hot grill
4~ Cook for about 10 minutes on each side
5~ Place BQ sauce on meat while cooking.
Do not over cook your rabbit on the BQ grill or it will become dry. If you boiled your rabbit before placing on
the grill is should be done. You are now just getting the grill flavor on the rabbit along with putting your BQ sauce on it.
BQ your rabbit just like you would chicken.
